Olfamily
Discover how we built a pet brand for Olfamily, turning a simple name into a full visual and verbal system that speaks to pet parents.
Olfamily is a pet care center started by Aliya, built on the idea that pets come first. Most pet shops feel transactional. Olfamily wanted to feel human, funny, and pet obsessed. They opened a physical store in Abu Dhabi and sold across the UAE online.
The market is full of cute paw logos and generic “we love pets” language. Olfamily needed a brand that felt honest about pet life. Not just cuddles. Also chewed slippers, midnight barking and messy living rooms. The brand had to be playful without looking childish, and flexible enough for packaging, store graphics and social.
Move beyond pet clichés
Balance playfulness and maturity
Create a flexible brand system
We started from the name. Olfamily comes from the Arabic word Olfa, meaning affection. So the brand needed to feel close, not corporate. We built the identity around the real relationship between pets and owners. Cute, yes, but also chaotic.

We designed a playful, moving logotype to mirror the unpredictable energy of pets.
We built supergraphics from the logo so the brand can fill walls, bags, boxes and social layouts.

We created a set of character illustrations showing different animals in their messy, funny moments. That gave the brand instant personality across touchpoints.
We gave Olfamily a cheeky tone of voice. Less sentimental, more honest. Lines that talk like a pet parent who has seen it all. A bit sarcastic, always caring. That made the brand stand out from the overly sweet pet stores.

The system works on in store materials, online assets and packaging

The new identity helped Olfamily position itself as a pet destination:
Brick-and-mortar store launched
in Abu Dhabi.
Online store launched
serving pet parents across the UAE.
Clear, ownable look and tone
that reflects real pet life.

“Human Saucer shows that you can be playful while being serious about your business. The brand is fun, flexible and very us.”
