Discover how we helped Caracal Sports build a social media story as it grew from a BJJ first label into a wider activewear brand.
Caracal Sports is an Emirati brand known first for its Brazilian jiu-jitsu gear. The brand built trust through its work with Alliance Jiu Jitsu and other academies, then started expanding into performance activewear for runners, lifters and everyday athletes. The reputation inside BJJ gyms was strong. The wider market still knew Caracal mainly for kimonos and combat gear.
Caracal wanted Instagram to do three jobs at once. Protect its status in the BJJ community. Introduce the activewear line to a broader audience. Support sales through the online store and partners. The feed was product heavy and did not explain the shift in a clear way.

Explain the brand shift clearly
We started with the shift in positioning. From a pioneering Emirati BJJ brand to an agent of change for active lifestyle. The line had to capture that move and work on social.
We built the #MakeYourCall platform. Caracal provides the gear and the signal. The audience decides how far they take their training. Every decision in strategy, visuals and copy linked back to that invitation.
We translated the platform into three pillars:
Inspire. Content that shows what Caracal stands for in real training life. Alliance Jiu Jitsu stories, athlete highlights, “behind the grind” sessions and video tutorials. The goal was to keep the BJJ roots visible while opening the door to other sports.

Engage. Posts that build a sense of community. Here we treated Caracal as the brand that talks like a coach and trains like the audience.

Convert. Product focused posts and paid assets. Clear visuals of kimonos, activewear drops and key USPs.


We kept the overall mix at roughly half BJJ, half wider activewear so the audience could see the evolution without feeling the brand was abandoning its core.
Visual direction leaned on bold typography, black and blue blocks.
Caracal gained a social platform that matched its ambition: a UAE born sports brand with deep roots in jiu-jitsu and a clear role in the wider active lifestyle space.
Over the first three months we achieved:
