Democratizing Financial Data

Understanding your financial transactions shouldn’t feel like decoding hieroglyphics, but that’s often the case with today’s banking apps. Ever wondered what that cryptic line of letters and numbers means? Lune is here to help. As a tech company focused on transaction data enrichment, their mission is simple: make financial data easy to understand.

By transforming messy transaction data into clear, accurate, and insightful information, Lune empowers people to truly understand where their money is going. But there was a problem. While Lune simplified financial complexities for their users, their own website didn’t follow that same logic. It was packed with technical jargon and had a rigid design that failed to reflect the clarity they promised.

our approach

The solution? Simplify and make it visually engaging. Our goal was to rethink the entire user experience by cutting through the technical jargon and creating a clear, easy-to-follow visual story. We replaced the cluttered interface with clean, intuitive design elements that reflect the same clarity Lune brings to its users.

Design was just the start. We also reworked the copy to ensure every word was clear, relatable, and informative, while maintaining a professional tone. We kept Lune’s target audience in focus: big banks and fintech companies. The tone stayed polished, but the language was simplified to make the experience more accessible and user-friendly.

Two photos of floral-themed stationery: left, a green card reading “Speak Through Blooms” with the hamsa logo; right, an open envelope with floral cards inside on a bed of leaves.

And we didn’t stop there. We took it further by creating animated visual mockups to help potential customers see exactly how Lune’s solutions could improve their products. Designed with bank and fintech representatives in mind, these mockups show Lune’s impact in real time.

The new website didn’t just look better, it performed better too. Since the redesign, Lune has gone from strength to strength, securing deals with major players in banking and fintech, including the National Bank of Fujairah (NBF).

They also raised $1.5 million in seed funding from key investors and gained recognition on a larger scale, being featured at prominent tech conferences across the region, where they showcased their innovative solutions to a wider audience.
