Pet shops are meant to be havens for our furry companions, right? But too many focus on the "shop" part and forget about the pets. The result? Pet parents are stuck with limited options when trying to find the best for their four-legged friends. It’s frustrating when choices seem more profit-driven than pet-friendly.

With that in mind, founder Aliya set out to create a one-stop pet care center that puts pets at its heart, run by people who truly care about them.

our approach

With only the name Olfamily - derived from the Arabic word ‘Olfa,’ meaning affection - as our starting point, the task was clear: to emphasize the "care" in "pet care." After all, being a pet parent isn’t just tail wags and cuddle sessions. It comes with 4 a.m. wake-up calls, chaotic zoomies, chewed-up furniture, and those lovely little surprise accidents. Just when you think things are under control, your furry friend reminds you to stay on your toes.

That’s exactly what we aimed to capture in Olfamily’s visual identity. We designed a playful, dynamic logotype that embodies the unpredictable, joyful (and sometimes messy!) journey of pet ownership. A set of supergraphics was developed from the logotype, created for maximum impact to bring the identity to life. The final touch was a set of illustrations portraying various animals in all their mischievous glory.

To match the visual energy, we gave Olfamily a cheeky, witty tone of voice. A bit of sarcasm, a dash of mischief - it’s exactly how we love our pets… or is it?
