Discover how we built a conversion focused website for Akrim that explains cashless tipping in a few simple steps.

Akrim is a UAE-based e-tipping platform that helps businesses move from casual, cash-based tipping to a traceable, compliant system. Staff receive tips through bank transfers or prepaid cards, while customers scan a QR code and pay in a few taps. The product was built around trust and simplicity, and the website needed to match that.
Tipping is familiar, but the system around it is often unclear. Many businesses still rely on cash, staff are unsure how tips are handled, and customers don't always know where their money goes. Akrim solves these problems, but the old site didn't explain the flow for each group. The team needed a site that speaks to business owners, employees and end customers at the same time.

We treated the website as the main place where Akrim proves its model. The story had to answer three questions quickly: how does it work, why is it better than cash, and what does each party gain. The structure was built around three clear journeys for businesses, staff and customers, each with its own page space within one consistent design system.

We designed a clean interface with one main action per screen.
The home page explains the core idea in simple language and shows the QR to tip flow in a visual way.
Sections for businesses highlight cost control, compliance, reporting and team motivation. Sections for staff show how tips are tracked and paid out to their account or prepaid card, with simple diagrams.
And sections for customers answer the “why digital tipping” question in one scroll and show the actual steps of scanning and paying.
The new website gives Akrim a credible story for partners and prospects in the UAE.
